Overview

Extension recently conducted self funded research to determine what impact - if any - estate names have on prospective property buyers in Victoria.

Do potential property buyers decide not to purchase in a particular estate because of the name?

Extension have investigated which categories of estate names are most popular with property developers, and compared them with property buyer's preferences.

The research also explores the connection between a person's age, gender, nationality, ethnicity and their preference of estate names.
